Important Changes to the Service

The ESRC UK Data Service, established on 1 October 2012, is a new national data service that provides unified access to high quality economic and social data, supporting researchers across academia and beyond.

The UKBORDERS service – the underlying database of digital boundaries and geographic lookup tables, applications providing access to this data, and expert user support/training, all of which were previously funded under the ESRC Census programme – is currently in the process of being integrated into the ESRC UK Data Service under a Census Support capability.
