The Confederation of Open Access Repositories (COAR) has just released its report, The Current State of Open Access Repository Interoperability (2012).
The report provides an overview of current interoperability activity in its first section, describing available services in areas such as metadata harvesting, usage statistics, unique identifiers or support services for repository networks.
Section 2 offers further details on specific initiatives designed to support these areas of work, including OA Repository Junction, PIRUS2, SWORD and the RepNet Project.
The report is the result of the work of COAR Working Group 2, in which EDINA and JISC are represented, and has benefitted from input by several present and past RepNet Project members.
