Marine Digimap Service FAQs

What marine and coastal data are available?

Two datasets are available from Marine Digimap as maps generated online and as data to download. The data will be the most up-to-date made available by SeaZone for the start of the academic year. Where updates are available these will be applied each September.

  • Charted Raster
  • Hydrospatial

For a more detailed description of each dataset see the Products Available page.

What does Marine Digimap provide?

Marine Digimap provides the following:

  • An easy to use interface to allow you to view and print Charted Raster.
  • A simple data download facility which allows you to search for and download marine maps or Hydrospatial data for your area of interest.
  • On-line help with using Marine Digimap, and understanding the marine data and their use in Digimap and GIS software.

How can I get access to Marine Digimap?
