Go-Geo! going strong
- New resources are under development for Go-Geo!, the JISC-funded UK academic spatial data portal. These resources include support for metadata creation, a new series of metadata workshops, and a metadata coordinator, available to assist in the support of metadata creation.

Ovid Technologies and EDINA - Changes to Customer Services
- EDINA announces changes in their relationship with OVID technologies, altering the customer relationship for subscribers to Ovid's CAB abstracts, PAIS and EconLit databases.

EDINA CAB still available
- The EDINA interface for CAB abstracts is still in operation and new subscription rates have been set for 2005/06.
- Music comes to EMOL
- The Culverhouse Collection of Classical music files and scores is now available on Educational Media OnLine (EMOL).
- Update becomes "Land Life Leisure"
- UPDATE, the agricultural and other land-based periodicals service, has changed its name to "Land Life Leisure" to reflect the wider content of the database.
- 7,000 new images at EIG
- New images covering diverse subjects such as architecture, archaeology, arts, culture and entertainment, environmental issues, politics and transportation have been added to the Educational Image Gallery (EIG) collection.
- IASSIST comes to Edinburgh
- The annual conference of the International Association for Social Science Information Services and Technology (IASSIST) was held in Edinburgh on 25-27 May 2005, in collaboration with the International Federation of Data Organisations (IFDO).

- An update on developments in the Digimap service.
- agcensus News
- New agricultural census data available for Scotland, England and Wales.
- Forthcoming Events
- Royal Geographical Society and Institute of British Geographers International Conference.
- Twenty years in the Data Library world.
