EDINA website redesign

The EDINA website will have a new look for the new academic year, as part of an overall suite of site enhancements.

In addition to the look and feel of the web site we will:

reorganise the home page
add a new support staff area
revamp the Project pages by adding an at-a-glance overview of each project
add links to additional resources to the service interfaces
review the readability of the content
add more RSS feeds
add more FAQs
add more information “About” EDINA

Each of these enhancements is a mini-project of its own, and as each is completed it will be added to the website independent of the official launch of the new design in September. Astute users will note that extra FAQs have already appeared in the service areas.

The basic navigation of the structure will remain as it is now, so it will still be familiar for established users.
