GeoDoc tool leads way to new geospatial metadata standards

Go-Geo!'s online geospatial metadata creator tool, GeoDoc, enables creators of geospatial data to document their data to a variety of standards-compliant schemas including the UK academic profile of ISO19115 (known as AGMAP), FGDC, Dublin Core, Data Document Initiative and core ISO 19115.

Very soon users of GeoDoc will be able to generate metadata compliant to the new GEMINI2 and INSPIRE metadata standards. This work is possible because EDINA have developed a coherent mapping between AGMAP, ISO19115, GEMINI2 and INSPIRE.
