Resource discovery - direct from your website

The Jorum team at EDINA and Mimas has been developing a set of widgets for embedding in web pages, which will allow you to view and find relevant learning and teaching resources, and receive updates when new resources are added, all directly from your own website and with minimal technical effort.

The widgets will also enable you to share and promote your own institution’s resources, and will be updated automatically, without the need for any upgrades as new features are developed.

A widget-builder will give users the option to select the type of widget they would like, such as:

Search (listing resources from a particular search criteria)
User (listing resources uploaded by a particular user)
Collection (listing resources for a particular collection)
Dynamic collection (a drop-down list of all collections; choosing a collection will list the resources available)
