Which licence is best for my Jorum contribution?

Since early February 2011, Jorum users have been able to find learning and teaching resources in Jorum with three kinds of licence:

However, users will only be able to share resources through the following licences:

The Jorum team will be contacting depositors to the JorumUK collection to invite them to re-license their resource(s) either under a Creative Commons licence (CC), or under the new Jorum EducationUK licence.

From August 2011, the JorumUK collection (resources shared prior to 2010, under the original institutional licence) will be disbanded and any resources which have not been re-licensed will be removed from circulation. This is because the institutional licences are due to expire at the end of July 2011 and Jorum will no longer be permitted to host these resources.

If you need further advice or support on how to transfer resources, please email support@jorum.ac.uk
