Using OpenURL Activity Data: final report and recommender

The Using OpenURL Activity Data project constitutes the third phase of the work done by EDINA to aggregate and share activity data from institutions’ OpenURL resolvers and the UK OpenURL Router, to enable the education community to potentially build new services using these data.

This project used the recommendations for future work outlined in the final report of the second phase of the project to further develop the aggregation of, and support the use of, the data.

The Phase 3 final report highlights the outputs and outcomes of the project, notably the development of a Recommender that locates an article and suggests related publications using a database of recommendations based on OpenURL activity data.
