Summary
This project will take forward the recommendations identified in the final report of the Shared OpenURL Data Phase 2 project: to further increase the quantity of OpenURL Router activity data available as an aggregation and maintain access to it; and to support third parties, in particular the UK HE community, in using the data to develop their own innovative services. Specifically, we will develop a prototype application to show case one possible use of the aggregated data. This ‘Recommender’ application will be designed to filter data to produce a set of relevant recommendations of alternative materials based on a request.
