Project Methodology

• OGSA-DAI will be modified to allow access to data via the Z39.50 and SRU/W protocols. This will then enable the project to demonstrate access to selected EDINA bibliographic and/or multimedia services.


• Leveraging off the work being conducted in SEE-GEO, the project will also extend OGSA-DAI to incorporate the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Web Feature Service (WFS). This will enable the project to demonstrate access to either Ordnance Survey MasterMap or UKBORDERS data.
