Description
The GRADE project kick off meeting was held on the 28th September 2005 in the Main Library Building at Edinburgh University. The meeting was well attended. The morning session set the scene for the project with a series of presentations and talks from consortium partners, international attendees and subject matter experts. The afternoon session led to more informal discussions including debate on considering what exactly is meant by geospatial data and investigating if mechanisms for data sharing currently exist.
