This six-month, JISC funded, project is investigating the utility of mainstream interoperability standards for the delivery and exploitation of geospatial data.
The primary objective is to develop a set of use case based demonstrator applications which:
- promote interoperability between distributed data sources to maximise their combined value;
- improve and enhance the communities experience of interacting with geospatial data; and
- support the work of the Collections Team in developing further use of geospatial data resources already at the disposal of the community.
