Summary

EDINA is part of the Knowledge Base+ project team which is being led by JISC Collections. The project is developing a shared community service that is aiming to improve the quality, accuracy, coverage and availability of data for the management of electronic resources for UK HE. It resulted from the work initiated by SCONUL to identify the e-resource management requirements of UK academic institutions.

EDINA Activity

  • Hosting the KB+ application, through provision of resilient infrastructure
  • Development of reports, including output in CSV and KBART formats
  • Provision of an authentication layer to support access via UKAMF
  • Development of an API to query publication information available in other JISC-funded services provided by EDINA, including SUNCAT and the Keepers
