Deliverables

This project will have a number of substantial deliverables, including:

The Junction, consisting of:

• A database of repository targets
• Mechanism to parses data objects to deduce targets
• API to enable searches for repositories, organisations or networks.

The Broker, consisting of:

• Mechanism to negotiate and receive data packages
• An ‘escrow’ eprints repository to hold content while it is being transferred
• Deposit mechanism to pass on package into target repositories - promoting use of SWORD for ‘well-seamed’ repository transfer

Use-cases:

We will be testing the junction and broker by developing a working demonstrator for two use cases - the Research Funder and Journal Publisher scenarios.
