Benefits of using SUNCAT

SUNCAT will offer:

A central source of high-quality serials records, with ISSNs, in MARC21 format to:

• Locate holdings for ILL requests
• Complete and verify serials titles in reading lists or ILL-request forms
• Upgrade or replace poorer-quality records in local catalogues
• Identify titles in neighbouring libraries to aid acquisition/cancellation decisions
