OpenURL

The following EDINA bibliographic services provide OpenURL links via the OpenURL Router.

When a resolver is registered with the OpenURL Router all users from that institution will automatically find OpenURL links displayed within EDINA user interfaces, with no request to EDINA required to enable linking.

Links use the button or icon normally associated with the resolver, to help users recognise the links.

GetCopy: an OpenURL Resolver

GetCopy (formerly known as Balsa) is an OpenURL resolver provided by EDINA, and is now available for evaluation. EDINA is in discussion with JISC to ensure that GetCopy remains available to all H&FE institutions as a subscription-free service, providing links between numerous services in the JISC Information Environment. Local site representatives and librarians are invited to email the EDINA helpdesk to arrange a GetCopy evaluation.
